Art and design have shaped my life from an early age. My first connection to architecture came through drawing the houses in my central Illinois neighborhood. I later earned my Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies at the University of Illinois, just minutes from those same homes, and my Master of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis.

Throughout my education and career, I’ve remained drawn to residential design and the deep personal connections we form with our homes. I see architecture as an extension of the artistic process, and enjoy the technical challenges found at the intersection of constructability and aesthetics.

When I am not designing, you’ll usually find me walking my two dogs, baking, or trying a new restaurant.
