ARROWHEAD LAKE HOUSE

Home as resort. Sited on a peninsula this house has a C-shaped plan facing a lake on 3 sides. The inside C forms a one-story courtyard where alternating colors of metal panels are mixed with wood. The play of wood, stone and metal carries into the interior to bring warmth and character to the large open spaces. Living, dining and kitchen all flow together on the entry level with access to a porch and spiral stair down to the lake. The lower level has indoor pool, a theater, and a variety of gaming activities. The upper level is for rest and rejuvenation with a gym, sauna and bedrooms.
