CAFE BERGSON
COFFEE & PHILOSOPHY
Named for the French Nobel prize winning philosopher, Henri Bergson, texts and images from Bergson’s work were used to illustrate the upper walls in this grab-and-go café on the campus at Washington University in Saint Louis. Other philosophers influenced by Bergson’s writings are featured on one long wall. We provided the architectural, interior and graphic design for the project.
“Great place for our Francophile faculty and students to meet… The walls display a narrative about Henri Bergson who influenced significant minds such as Jean-Paul Sartre, Marcel Proust, Simone de Beauvoir, whose portraits are also displayed.”
